£30,000 out of court settlement. This claim was settled without the need for any medical evidence.
Hudgell Solicitors comment
Claim handler Karl Griffin said: “Obviously you expect to be safe on a zebra crossing, but despite that there were still some initial arguments made by the defendants in this case that the man was partly responsible. It was claimed he had failed to look properly and failed to judge the driver’s vehicle or speed.
“This was found not to be the case and we were pleased to secure a settlement for him which recognised the ordeal he had been put through.”
“I’m really happy with the service I received. I wasn’t well at the time I came to see Karl and he dropped everything to sit down, listen and talk to me. He went above and beyond what you would expect and he’s a credit to the company.”
