Expertise and key strengths
I am competent in handling disputed cases with successful outcomes, and also acquisition files. I pride myself on my friendly manner with clients. I handle complex multiple orthopaedic, brain and psychological injury cases, including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and fibromyalgia. My practical approach and attention to detail enables me to take over a case with a smooth transition to establish and identify the issues. This enabled the case to progress through to settlement, gaining the client’s confidence from the outset.
I qualified as a solicitor in January 2009. I completed my training contract at CS2 Lawyers Limited in Chesterfield, predominately handling road traffic accident claims. My attention to detail and good analytic skills quickly saw me move into the complex injury team, where I began handling complex high end fast track claims and multi track claims. After three years, I joined Minster Law in York to specialise in motorbike accident claims for one year before joining Hudgell Solicitors in October 2010.
