Expertise and key strengths
My key strengths are the ability to listen and empathise with clients, building a relationship of trust. This is crucial when dealing with horrific sexual abuse cases, severe injuries and clients who are mentally distressed. I love my job, and knowing that I have helped someone receive compensation for their suffering, is highly rewarding.
I have worked at Hudgell Solicitors since August 2016 where I joined the team as a New Claims Handler. I am currently studying for a degree in law in my spare time with the Open University and hope to become a solicitor in the future. Prior to joining Hudgell solicitors I have worked in debt advice and banking.
Proudest professional achievement
Moving from New Claims to being a fee earner is a huge achievement for me as having no prior legal experience before joining the ‘Hudgell family’ I feel very privileged to have been given the opportunity to succeed in such a highly competitive sector and with such a high achieving law firm.
It is early days in my claim, but I am very hopeful that I will be taken on as a client, particularly due to the kindness and understanding shown to me by Tracy Chapman. Being listened to is a novelty for me after trying to get answers…
