Expertise and key strengths
I am a clinical negligence solicitor, acting for claimants. Prior to training as a solicitor, I worked as a practitioner in Chinese medicine and also studied and taught medical sociology / public health.
My focus is on justice and exceptional client care. For all my clients I aim to be approachable, friendly, down to earth, responsive and empathetic – combined with strength and determination to succeed in the claim.
I represent a wide cross-section of clinical negligence claims including dental negligence. I also have an interest in representing individuals and families at inquests.
I completed a degree in sociology and political philosophy, following a career in the health care sector I decided on a career change after the birth of my son and studied law, completing the GDL and LPC at the College of Law, London (now University of Law).
I then trained at Anthony Gold at London Bridge and always knew that I wanted to do clinical negligence to make the most of my medical knowledge. I qualified 2011. I then gained further experience with another firm before joining Hudgell Solicitors as a clinical negligence solicitor in 2015.
Proudest professional achievement
I don’t really have a single one. For me, it’s rewarding and a privilege to help clients find answers to what happened to them and what went wrong. For cases involving children, it can be vital for parents to know and be reassured that it was nothing that they did that led to the injuries or harm caused to their child.
Sue is excellent and a credit to your organisation.
I just want to thank you personally, as you were honest and got things done…
I would recommend Hudgell Solicitors and their excellent service, my solicitor Sue Jackson was very professional but friendly and I felt at such ease with her, I would use again.
“I have never felt the need to praise a lawyer before but I feel I must put on record my praise for Sue Jackson. She has worked extremely hard on my case with understanding, diligence and cheerfulness. She has made me feel I am her most important client – a rare attribute”
