My motivation is to seek justice for those who have been let down by a system meant to protect them and hold it accountable for its failures.
I’m also an advocate for mental health, as I understand the impact a traumatic experience can have on a person’s life and wellbeing.
Get to Know Soraya
Soraya graduated from Leeds Beckett Law School and joined Hudgell Solicitors as a legal assistant in the Civil Liberties department in 2023.
Soraya aims to help those who have suffered injury or loss because of breeches within law enforcement in our department dealing with cases involving police assault, unlawful arrest, and breaches of human rights. She chose to begin her career with Hudgell Solicitors as she felt the firm’s work aligned with her own values and motivations.
Career Highlights
Although in the early stages of my career I have already gained great insight into Actions Against the Police claims, acting as the first point of contact for clients seeking assistance, providing them with compassionate, respectful, and straightforward advice.
Giving More
I support those who struggle to advocate for themselves, particularly those who are vulnerable, and with my own experiences aim to provide Neurodiversity training.
