Get to Know Madelaine
As part of Madelaine’s earlier career at Hudgells she spent a year working within the New Claims department, giving her experience in understanding and discussing various claim types including personal injury and travel claims, medical negligence claims, civil liberties cases and criminal injuries claims.
She has run numerous personal injury claims, representing clients who have been involved in road traffic accidents, accidents at work and accidents occurring in public spaces. Madelaine is currently completing the final stage of her training contract in the medical negligence department and is handling a broad range of claims within the department.
Career Highlights
I took over conduct of a claim which had been ongoing for some time due to the complexities of the injuries sustained. With my intervention, the matter progressed to a hearing at which we secured a five-figure settlement for the claimant, who was a child.
I also secured compensation for a client who had a fall in her local supermarket. The client was delighted with the amount of compensation I secured and had not expected to receive an award that high.

I’ve been involved with fundraisers for Martin’s Mountain, a charity started by Martin Hibbard, a survivor of the Manchester Arena terror attack and I’ve also completed sponsored walks and bake sales.
