Cyrus is a member of our medical negligence team based at our Manchester office, dealing with a wide range of clinical negligence cases including maternity cases and is supporting clients with their claims against Great Ormond Street Hospital and the orthopaedic surgeon Yaser Jabbar.
He trained at a law firm in Shropshire that specialised in Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence and qualified in 2020. Cyrus has previously worked for clients in accidents abroad, clinical negligence, and military claims cases; and he assisted with high-value brain injury claims.
Career Highlights
I am proud to be supporting clients in the ongoing investigation into the care provided to children at Great Ormond Street Hospital by orthopaedic surgeon Yaser Jabbar.
I represented a client in a medical negligence case whose symptoms were not investigated, resulting in worsening, prolonged symptoms. As court proceedings were about to be issued, I managed to obtain an out-of-court settlement to reduce the impact stress that litigation would have on the client.
I have also secured a settlement for the family of a deceased claimant following a claim against substandard care at a care home.

I am currently a member of the Manchester Law Society’s equality and diversity committee to support individuals and organisations to take the difficult but necessary action to accelerate change across the profession.
I have been a member of Shropshire Council’s Armed Forces Outreach and Armed Forces Operations groups, and two Chambers of Commerce in North West England and North Wales.
At university, I was the Multicultural Chairman for my Student Union, arranging events to promote equality and diversity.
