Areas of specialism
All areas of personal injury.
Expertise and key strengths
I deal with all areas of personal injury law including road traffic accident claims, accidents at work, accidents in shops and/or restaurants and also claims against, for example, hairdressers and beauty therapists.
Having started off as an office junior in a law firm at aged 16 and progressing to a secretary and subsequently more of a PA role, by the time I was 25 I knew what I wanted to do and was capable of so much more. I therefore commenced studies with CILEX part time, while continuing to work as a secretary on a full time basis. I secured my CILEX Practicing Certificate, aged 31, having studied whilst holding down a full time job and running a home.
Proudest professional achievement: My proudest case so far was when representing a man who lost fingers in an accident at work, but the employer initially lied to the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and emergency services about how the accident occurred. I had to go back to the HSE and ask them to re-open their investigation and I ended up with an admission and compensation for my client.
“Very clear advice.”
“Got an update very four weeks.”
“Delighted with compensation.”
“Your services are A1.”
