Alia joined Hudgell Solicitors London office in July 2018 and she is currently and is currently undertaking her LLM Legal Practice Course where she is due to graduate in 2021.
She provides assistance on a wide variety of clinical negligence cases and her experience extends in to personal injury cases too.
Many clients we support have gone through very difficult situations and experienced loss as a result of negligence or injury. I find it rewarding when I see that a client has been able to get their desired result when pursuing a claim, whether that be finding answers to what has happened to them or receiving compensation for the injuries they have sustained. Knowing that I have assisted in providing a valuable service to help clients achieve their aim in the litigation process, is always at the forefront of my goal and it pleases me when I use the expertise I have gained to help achieve this on their behalf.
I believe that my social skills and ability to emphathise with clients situations not only helps to establish, build and sustain good relationships with Clients, where they feel comfortable to express themselves openly at any stage in the litigation process but also places clients at ease in what can be very fractious times in their lives.
Alia assisted in a fatal case where we achieved a five-figured figured result on behalf of the Client’s estate. The compensation gained allowed the litigation friend to pay the costs of his late wife’s funeral, subsequent arrangements and care he required after sustaining psychiatric injury as a result of witnessing the fatal incident to his late wife.
