Malcolm Johnson, a senior solicitor in our London office has just published his new book “A Practical Guide to Prison Injury Claims”.
Details can be found at http://www.lawbriefpublishing.com/product/prisoninjuryclaims/
This book is about injury claims brought by both prisoners and the people who work in prisons. The idea behind the book is to try and give practitioners an idea as to how the prison system works, and how to build a personal injury claim in circumstances that can be very challenging indeed.
Malcolm said :-
“I’m really grateful to my publishers, Law Brief Publishing for helping me write what proved to be a very difficult and complex subject. Prisons can be highly secretive places, cut off from the outside world, where abuse and corruption can flourish unchecked. This book is designed to help practitioners bring effective claims on behalf of prisoners.”
Malcolm works for Hudgells as a Senior Solicitor. He is a solicitor advocate, who has represented his clients at trial, inquests, in the Upper Tier Tribunal and the Court of Appeal.
Malcolm is a Fellow of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and a member of the Law Society’s Personal Injury Panel. He has written numerous articles in the legal press.
Malcolm is grateful to Andrew Petherbridge, Head of the Civil Liberties at Hudgells for his help in producing this book.
