A Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) investigation into the treatment of hundreds of children by a surgeon found to have caused harm to patients has now been extended to four more London hospitals, it has been confirmed to our clients.
Following a Royal College of Surgeons (RCS) review last year, which investigated the care provided at GOSH to children by Dr Yaser Jabbar orthopaedic surgeon, a total of 721 cases are currently being individually investigated.
Now, families have been told that treatment provided by Dr Yaser Jabbar at four more London hospitals are under review, including Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, St John and St Elizabeth Hospital London, The Portland Hospital and Cromwell Hospital.
