Hudgell Solicitors has been named in the prestigious Times Best 250 Law Firms list for the fifth consecutive year with its work in cases relating to human rights, personal injury and clinical negligence commended.
The list is compiled each year by an independent international market research company which asks solicitors and barristers across England, Wales and Scotland to recommend the best law firms.
This year’s guide hails Hudgells’ ongoing work in high-profile legal cases over the past 12 months, including the continuing representation of hundreds of former subpostmasters affected by the Post Office Horizon scandal.
The guide highlights how the firm played an ‘influential role in the introduction of the Post Office (Horizon System) Offences Act 2024, which saw the Government bow to pressure to introduce new legislation which has paved the way for the exoneration of hundreds of people affected, without the need to go to court.
Hudgells’ ongoing work in representing more than 170 people injured in the 2017 Manchester Arena bombing is also referenced, as is the representation of families of children injured as a result of allegedly harmful surgery performed by surgeon Yaser Jabbar at Great Ormond Street Hospital, where more than 700 cases are being investigated.

We are grateful for this recognition and it is great to see that we are maintaining the high standards that we hold ourselves to, year upon year.
Our legal teams are incredibly grateful to our clients and peers who have provided testimonials supporting our inclusion in this guide for the fifth successive year, and continue to be honoured to be able to support so many deserving people.
We will continue to fight for those who need us the most and I congratulate all my colleagues who work tirelessly to achieve this.
