Yesterday Hudgell Solicitors hosted the book launch of “An Advocate’s Guide to Complaints in England” published by Pavilion at the office of 1 Chancery Lane. The evening was a resounding success, attended by various charities and advocacy organisations, including Barnardos, Coram Voice, Project 17, the Who Cares Trust, Just for Kids Law, the Advocacy Project, the Young Lives Foundation and POhWER.
Also in attendance were the authors of the book, Malcolm Johnson, Dr Lynn Brady and Muna Adam as well as the book’s illustrator, Georgina Weston.
Malcolm Johnson spoke at the event, and praised the tireless work that advocates carry out for children and vulnerable people up and down the country.
“We wrote this book to try and help advocates in the work that they do. We sincerely hope that people will find it useful, and we welcome any feedback that they have for us. I’d like to thank everyone for attending this event and making it so special.”
A copy of the book can be purchased from Pavilion Publishing Limited.
