A date has been set for the inquest into the death of murdered hairdresser, Katrina O’Hara.

A pre-inquest review held at Bournemouth Coroner’s Court on Friday decided that the inquest into Ms O’Hara’s death will begin at the court on 3 February 2020.

Vicky Richardson, a legal advisor at Hudgell Solicitors, who is acting on behalf of Katrina’s three children Kyle and Dean Stark and Morgan O’Hara, said the inquest is anticipated to last up to four weeks.

A further pre-inquest review has been set for 15 November 2019.

Ms O’Hara, aged 44, was killed by her former partner, Stuart Thomas, at her salon in January 2016. He was later jailed for life for her murder. An Independent Office for Police Conduct report into Dorset Police’s contact with Ms O’ Hara in the run-up to her death was critical of the force.
