A Pre-Inquest Review has been set into the death of Lewis Skelton who died after ‘two live rounds’ were shot at him in Francis Street, Hull city centre in November last year.

The review will be held at 10am on Tuesday 4 September 2018 at Hull Coroner’s Court and will decide how the inquest will be conducted and what it will cover.

Solicitor Leanne Stephenson is representing Mr Skelton’s family. He says: “Lewis’s family hope that this will be the start of them getting answers about how Lewis died.”

The findings of an Independent Office of Police Conduct investigation into the shooting are expected by the end of the year.
