About the Role

The role

We are looking to recruit an experienced paralegal to join our growing Travel Litigation department in our prestigious Manchester office. You will work as part of the well-established team on a variety of travel litigation and personal injury claims, including a significant group action. You will assist lawyers in the team on cases involving Package Travel claims, road traffic accidents abroad, employer’s liability claims abroad, and claims arising from accidents on planes and ships.

The successful candidate will have a track record of progressing personal injury matters, will be supported by a Head of Travel and Serious Injury and will be joining a friendly team that works collaboratively to deliver the best result for our clients.

What you will need

  • Have a Law Degree and/or at least 2 years’ experience in a paralegal/legal assistance role.
  • Experience dealing with travel litigation or personal injury claims.
  • Be committed to delivering excellent client care/ service.
  • Be able to work sympathetically and effectively with a wide range of clients with differing needs.
  • Have the ability to scrutinize and fact-check both internal and court reports.
  • Have excellent organisational skills and time management skills.
  • Be able to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
  • Have the ability to build rapport with colleagues and clients alike.
  • Be keen to learn, interested in driving your own career progression and be proactive in taking ownership of this.
