'Reasonable likelihood’ Capture software caused shortfalls in Post Office accounts

An independent review into the ‘Capture’ software used by the Post Office network prior to the Horizon system has found there is a ‘reasonable likelihood’ that it also caused shortfalls in branch accounts.

Solicitor Neil Hudgell described the findings as ‘hugely significant’ and said ‘there must not be a long, hard battle ahead for exoneration and compensation.’

A review has found patient Bunty Stalham suffered harm at Great Ormond Street Hospital as a result of treatment from surgeon Yaser Jabbar.

Her father Dean has now instructed Hudgell Solicitors, and says Mr Jabbar ‘worked to his own agenda’ and ‘should have been stopped sooner’.
